The organization wished her well on her future adventures and thanked van Lill for her “dedication to the industry during her term”.
Commenting on her departure, van Lill said: “After five years at the helm, as the world emerges from the Covid-19 pandemic into the new normal, and SAVCA enters its next growth stage along with the rest of the industry, I feel strongly that fresh, diverse perspectives and energy will be critical to ensure the ongoing vitality and success of this organisation.”
“There could not be a better time to hand the baton over to someone who will passionately reimagine what the road ahead looks like, and continue to lead SAVCA into the future,” she shared on LinkedIn.
The Southern African Venture Capital and Private Equity Association (SAVCA) is a non-profit industry association, that represents the interests of the participants of the private equity and venture capital industry in Southern Africa.
