Invest AD has announced the appointment of Faras Al Ramahi as the company's new Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately.

Al Ramahi joins Invest AD from Masdar, Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company, where he has been Advisor to the Chairman since January 2014.
Al Ramahi has extensive experience in asset management, corporate finance and investment banking from a career spanning 21 years.
Prior to his time at Masdar, he was the CFO for Farmers Service Center, a government initiative designed to commercialize Abu Dhabi's agriculture sector.
He has previously held the role of Executive Vice President at CAPM investments, a local investment advisory boutique providing advisory on listed and private equity, real estate and financial restructuring; Managing Director of the National Financial Brokerage Company; Head of the Listed Equity Department in Invest AD; and Vice President of the Asset Management Division of The National Investor.
Al Ramahi holds a BA in Business Administration from University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, in the United States.
