GreenTec Capital has appointed Aboubaker Benslimane as Head of Startup Resources.

Benslimane will lead GreenTec’s sourcing efforts across Africa to identify innovative and impactful start-ups that will benefit most from GreenTec’s support model.

Benslimane pursued graduate studies at the University of Paris Dauphine focusing on International Business with a specialization in the International Management of New Technologies.

He gained extensive expertise in the African entrepreneurial and start-up segment as a global communications lead at JokkoLabs, a pan-African initiative that works to create synergies between local and global ecosystems to bring local African innovation to a global stage.

Benslimane will apply his background in African entrepreneurship and International Technology implementation to identify start-ups that will benefit most from additional value generating support, activities, and financing.

Leveraging his previous experience in consulting, as an entrepreneur, and with JokkoLabs, “he is ideally positioned to identify start-ups in Angleophone and Francophone markets”.
