The African Private Equity and Venture Capital Association (AVCA) has appointed five industry veterans to join its Board of Directors.
The African Private Equity and Venture Capital Association (AVCA) has appointed five industry veterans to join its Board of Directors.
The new Board members are: Antoine Delaporte, Founder and Managing Director, Adenia Partners; Cyril Odu, CEO, African Capital Alliance; Jerry Parkes, Managing Principal, Injaro Investments; Luc Rigouzzo, Managing Partner and Co-founder, Amethis Finance; and Genevieve Sangudi, Managing Director, The Carlyle Group.
The new Board members are key influencers within the African private equity industry, and will deepen AVCA’s reach and impact as it continues to enable private investment in Africa and champion the sector.
Commenting on the appointments, Hurley Doddy, Founding Partner and co-CEO of Emerging Capital Partners and Chair of the AVCA Board, said: “As the African private equity industry continues to evolve, we are delighted to welcome such reputable leaders in the industry to the AVCA Board of Directors.
