Ashburton Investments has promoted Jonathan Schiessl to Chief Investment Officer within its international investment team.
Ashburton Investments has promoted Jonathan Schiessl to Chief Investment Officer within its international investment team.
Schiessl, a Director at Ashburton Investments in Jersey, assumes his new role with immediate effect which will see him take on responsibility for the firm’s global investment fund range and portfolio management services.
Having joined Ashburton in 2000, he has 19 years’ experience in the investment industry and was previously Head of Equities before taking on his new role.
He is also lead fund manager of the Ashburton India Equity Opportunities Fund, which he will continue to manage.
In addition, Derry Pickford and Marianna Georgakopoulou have been appointed as Joint Heads of Ashburton Investments’ Asset Allocation team in London.
Pickford has been at the firm for a number of years leading its macro analysis while Georgakopoulou joined last year as Multi Asset Strategist from Pivot Capital Management (Monaco).
As part of the re-structure, Georgakopoulou will take over day-to-day portfolio responsibility for the Asset Management Funds while Pickford will manage the Global Multi Asset Funds.
