Siguler Guff & Company, a multi-strategy private equity investment firm with over $10 billion of assets under management, has hired Remy Kawkabani as a Managing Director and Head of Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

Kawkabani will be based in London and will lead Siguler Guff’s European business, with a primary initial focus on distribution and new product development in the EMEA region.

Kawkabani has over 20 years of private equity experience and is a leader in the private equity placement industry, specializing in the EMEA region.

Prior to joining Siguler Guff, Kawkabani held several senior positions at Credit Suisse, where he was responsible for the origination, structuring and successful launch of innovative funds.

Most recently, he served as a Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Credit Suisse Asset Management for the EMEA region.

Previously, he was a Managing Director and Global Co-Head of the Credit Suisse Private Fund Group, where he oversaw origination, project management and distribution in Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
