Investec Asset Management has appointed Nick Marsh as Associate Principal to its private equity business.

Marsh has built up more than 13 years’ experience in private equity and strategy consulting and has worked in a wide range of sectors and industries.

Marsh joins from LGV Capital in London where he was an investment director.

Prior to LGV Capital, he was a manager at Bain & Company where he worked in London and South Africa.

Commenting on his appointment, Marsh said: “I am excited to join the team at Investec Asset Management, who has a deservedly strong reputation. I believe the African continent offers very attractive opportunities for private equity investment and I look forward to being a part of the team at Investec Asset Management as they continue to capitalise on their strong position.”
